Date of Defense 2007-12-07 Availability unrestricted Abstract Dear Blackbird, is a collection of lyric-narrative poems that seeks to capture the spirit of the rural southern towns my family grew up in. When writing it I had in mind James Wright’s sentiment: I want all of the love in life with all of the pain left in.Files
