Abstract This manuscript is a novella entitled, After the Sun Fell, which traces the early lives of its two main characters, Shin Moon-Cha, a young Korean girl who meets, falls in love, and marries an American Soldier, Robert Asher, and moves with him to rural southeastern Kentucky in the late 1960s.
