Date of Defense 2003-06-01 Availability restricted Abstract In this thesis we adapt the concept of visual cryptography to digital projectors as opposed to over-head projectors. Digital projectors are used to project the images from the computer monitor, whereas over-head projectors display the image from transparencies placed on them. The schemes developed in this thesis guarantee perfect secrecy and also provide the best possible contrast. By using two projectors, there is no need for any computational device or a complex approach to decrypt the message. Decryption is done by the human visual system and the laws of Physics.Files
