Abstract The average age is increasing due to which the number of persons with Alzheimer's disease is likely to increase in the next few decades. Information Technology can be used as cognitive prosthetic for those who are suffering from Alzheimer's disease. This paper discusses Alzheimer's disease and how Information Technology can be used to improve the quality of care for persons with Alzheimer's disease.
